My team and I identified an unmet need in the veterinary market and developed a ventilator catering to patients ranging from 500g to 100kg. This ventilator was designed not only to support critically ill animals who could not breathe independently but also to function as an anesthesia machine during surgeries.
A key focus was on creating a device with a clear, intuitive interface, a simple circuit, and a compact, lightweight design for easy transport in a veterinary setting.
The equipment was validated at one of Brazil's top universities, and despite a brief development period and its innovative nature, production commenced with minimal issues.
Cost-effective and safety-focused design.
Hard real-time system controlling a 50W BLDC motor.
Integrated pressure measurement and a 7" touchscreen display.
Innovative UX/UI design for enhanced usability.
Hardware includes one four-layer PCB and two two-layer PCBs.
4-cell, 100W LiPo battery charger and a 70W boost converter.
Cold-bent casing to speed up and reduce the development.
